Reeds was designed by Alexandra Palmowski, a graphic artist based in Manchester with a brilliant sense of 3D geometrics. Inspired by the post-impressionist painter Henri Rousseau (1844-1910), Reeds depicts imaginative forest glades and dense foliage. Having spent a lot of time on the Suffolk coast surrounded by reed beds, I feel that they are a distinct part of the English landscape. Through the use of bold colours, this design is large-scale and depicts an abstracted scene of nature.
