Designed by Dora, Honor was created from an ancient piece of French lace transposed to the woodblock and from there to the silk screen. Dora is an English designer who gains inspiration from the land and ancient monuments around her in East Sussex, as well as by the colours and faded lithographic style of the English artist Eric Ravilious (1903-1942). Honor is named after my second daughter who is feminine and quirky.
